Standards Against Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE)

1. Our Commitment

Kokani Rishta has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) in any form. This applies to all content, communication, and user activity on our website and mobile app, and to every user regardless of location.

2. Age Eligibility

Kokani Rishta is a matrimonial platform for adults only. Users must be at least 18 years old to register. We require date-of-birth information at signup and remove accounts found to misrepresent a user's age or belong to a minor.

3. Prohibited Content and Conduct

The following are strictly prohibited on Kokani Rishta:

  • Uploading, sharing, or linking to child sexual abuse material (CSAM) in any form.
  • Any sexualization of minors, including text, images, or profiles impersonating or depicting a minor.
  • Grooming, soliciting, or attempting to contact minors for sexual purposes.
  • Using the platform to facilitate trafficking or exploitation of any person, especially minors.

4. How We Detect and Respond

Reported profiles, photos, and messages are reviewed by our team. Accounts and content found to violate this policy are removed immediately, the associated account is permanently banned, and we preserve relevant records as required by law.

Where CSAM or suspected exploitation of a minor is identified, we report it to the National Cyber Crime Reporting Portal (cybercrime.gov.in) and cooperate with law enforcement under India's Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act, 2012 and the Information Technology Act, 2000. Where applicable, we also report to the NCMEC CyberTipline.

5. How to Report

If you encounter content or behavior on Kokani Rishta that you believe involves child sexual abuse or exploitation, report it immediately:

  • Use the "Report" option available on any profile or message within the app.
  • Email us directly at safety@kokanirishta.in.

Reports are reviewed on priority and we aim to act within 24 hours. If a child is in immediate danger, contact local law enforcement or the Indian Childline helpline (1098) right away.
